'Onwards The Few' by The Reclaimers

Every World Cup is a jingoistic and emotive subject for the majority of the british public every 4 years, and what better way to unite the masses, than by song.

Everyone remembers 'Three Lions' and 'World in Motion' as the ultimate football songs of our generation. However, the official England song has always gone to an already established and signed band, and this year its no different, as the FA have declared The New Radicals song as the offical tune in this years bid.

However, we at Pro Music have decided to back a different song in the face of the FA. Song by our own Gavin Jones, a Director of the company, The song, with his original band 'The Reclaimers', is called 'Onwards The Few' and we would appreciate your support in trying to oust the the FA's offical choice.

We don't have anything against The New Radicals at all, its just we think that a song for the fans, should come from the fans, and that is the background to our bid.

It was played on Talk Sport as their top recommendation on 11th April, featured on Soccernights in the Yorkshire region and will hopefully soon be on Sky Sports News.
