This is a 5 piece band from Salford, Manchester. The band is composed of three brothers - Richard Effio '79 (vocals and guitar), Michael Effio '84 (drums and song-writing), Lee Effio '74 (keyboard) - and two of their cousins - Steven Taylor '81 (lead guitar), and Brian Healey '71.

This band started in November 1998. Since that date the band has played gigs accross the North-west of England, culminating in a very successful 5 day-tour of Barcelona in November 2001, where they recorded their two music-videos: "Someday" and "Again" and are due to tour again in April 2003.

Following the success of the Barcelona tour, a Spanish TV Production company - TV Works (Barcelona) - has chosen the Breaker Band to make a documentary on unsigned bands, and will be following their footsteps for the next couple of years.

Apart from the normal set format, they also have a 70s disco theme, in which they can play music to cater for such events and dress accordingly if required.

'Sexual Chocolate' is a 5 piece disco band, featuring full 70's costumes and a great selectoin of classic tunes sure to fill the dancefloor. This act is available to be booked alongside the usual Breaker Band line up as one half of a 2 x 45 minute set performance, or as a full 2 x 45 minute performance - prices on enquiry.
