The Total Commitments came to prominence on the Irish circuit in 2001, during that years Manchester Irish Festival. The band was born out of a love for the original film and for the artisits behind the set list which the producers of the original film wher einsightful enough to formulate.

The band regularly gig totally live at weddings and corporate events, and have an amazing sound. The band comprises of two fabulous female backing singers, three horn parts and one of the best rhythm sections ever essembled, not forgetting the powerful vocals of their lead singer.

The band are perfect for any fans of the original film, and the tie in guarantees all the old usual favourites will be played.
