DJs for Weddings and Corporate Events

One of the essential ingredients for any successful party, event or wedding, is a DJ. It is extremely important to find a DJ which has a style of music which either matches your own, or the clienteles taste.

To be honest, there are some pretty awful Wedding and function DJs out there, with poor equipment and no real idea of how they should work and what to play. Furthermore, DO NOT BOOK a DJ who hasn't played at a lot of weddings before, its a recipe for disaster, as experienced DJs know the do's and don'ts for people at weddings.

We've pretty much seen it all in our time of gigging, from the white rastafarian playing Bob Marley at an Irish Wedding, the Dance DJ complete with Technics turntables and mixer playing pumping house more akin to the early hours of the morning than morning suits. Getting the right DJ can mean the difference between a good and an exceptional night. Experienced DJs will know when they have to be there, that they have to be there to set up before the party arrives, they have to be playing background music from the afternoon, and that they must have the brides 'first dance' song (unless the band are doing it) and will get everyone's attention when the happy couple are dancing... so many small things will make the night a success, and therefore the right choice is very important.
