With a voice that belies her twenty-four years, Liverpool based vocalist Gayle Stevens can boast a wealth of performing experience.

At just sixteen Gayle began touring the UK with Birmingham based soul band ‘Soul Side Up’ where her passion and flair for the soul classics of the sixties soon became apparent. Gayle went on to perform at venues such as Birmingham’s Ronnie Scotts and Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre, not to mention a short tour of Spain with Warner Bros recording artist, Carmen Paris in 2003.

Now a graduate of the Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts this young diva can now be found regularly performing as part of her own piano/vocal duo across the North West. With her own unique versions of hits from legendary artists such as Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin and The Temptations through to the disco classics of Sister Sledge and contempory R’n’B artists such as Jamelia this up beat act is perfect for putting the soul into any occasion.
