Groovebreaker was formed in March 2005 from the ashes of original's band Casino featuring singer Luke Gribbon and guitarist Gaz.

Casino's drummer Carl Hutchinson, long time session drummer on the jazz scene got a call to gig with Soul singer Steven Bayliss who was forming a touring band here and abroad.

Steven at this time had already got former Shady and Cowboys and Angels bassist John Watson lined up to join the band when other commitments stopped the band from touring. At this time Carl called John to join the two Casino lads to form the new band Groovebreaker with a view to playing material not usually heard around the Blaclkpool scene - Funk, Soul and Dance.

With Lukes chocolatey dark voice the band hit rehearsals and now are ready to give you the funk...
