Groove Nation are a party / function band put together by Neil Owens and Darren Andrews. They were playing in a local band called “The A Team” and after some time were starting to get tired of playing the same old material, so decided to leave and create a band of their own.

Their vision was to create the ultimate party band with exceptional musicianship. They next had the task of recruiting members which proved to be difficult and testng. They auditioned near 30 singers and 25 guitarists over a period of a month. Not a single musician was up to the level they were looking for. The problem being they wanted singers who could cope with every possible commercial style from Hard Rock, Pop, Disco, Funk to Soul and R&B.

After months of searching and failing to find anyone up to the required standard, they got a call from a mutual friend recommending Lou Harper. After a short phone conversation she was auditioned for the band. After the audition the feelings were mutual all around and Lou got the job immediately.

Following this the band needed a guitarist who was equally good on Lead as well as Rhythm guitar. Darren and Neil had been recording original material on Ste Maks EP in the recording studio. He was asked to join Groove Nation shortly after and he agreed to be a full time member of the band.

The band Groove Nation are Professional Musicians who are able to cope with all styles of music for any occasion, entertain, perform and interact with a unique chemistry as well as play at a world class level. After a tour of the UK, they are now available for corporate and wedding bookings.
