John King and Gavin Jones have been gigging together for many years in top covers band The Coolers, and are now offering the option to book them as a duo for background and early evening gigs at events such as Weddings, Corporate affairs and product launches. They offer a light and refreshing acoustic act, performing their own interpretations of classic tunes, whilst also performing songs from the myriad of singer songwriters such as James Morrison and John Mayer, that are now in the charts today.

John King is one of the top session guitarists performing in Manchester and the UK. His skill with the guitar has been crafted over many years performing in jazz and country acts, and is now being honed in top Manchester cover outfit 'The Coolers'.

A talented writer as well, John has a beautifully smooth voice which lends itself perfectly to harmonising with Gavin, as you can hear on the tracks above liek Message in a Bottle.

Gavin Jones has been singing for around 8 years in The Coolers and formerly as a resident at Manchester's 'Living Room' bar. He had a notable performance as 'The Wedding Singer' on 2007s X Factor, where he reached the last 12 of the Over 25s catergory before being unjustly ousted. He has an instantly recognisable deep tone to his voice, and has a large repertoire of songs from swing to pop, which means that he can usually adapt to any situation.
