ONE OF OUR DIRECTORS MAKES A BID FOR ENGLAND WORLD CUP NUMBER ONE
Gavin Jones, Director of Pro Music UK Ltd has recently recorded a song for the World Cup 2006, and it has started to recieve a lot of interest! It was recently featured on TalkSport by Alan Brazil who tipped it as the top contender to the FA's official choice by the New Radicals.
The track is called 'Onwards The Few' by The Reclaimers and its based on the Battle of Britain story. We hope it goes somewhere and it would be nice for a unknown to take on the big boys and win for a change. If you want to listen to the track, please click here for more information. |

NEW VENUE FOR OUR BANDS
Pro MUSIC UK LTD are proud to announce that we will be booking live bands now at the famous BLUES CLUB, in Glossop - every Friday from 31st March. The tie up with the new owners is brilliant for live music in the area and the company has basically a 3 month trial to make it a success.
The venue used to be a classic live music venue in years gone by, and its a real throw back to the old style venues that used to be around - vintage guitars on the walls and gig posters from the greats - its a real perfect place for live music.
The first band to play there will be 'The Coolers', so please, if you fancy a night out, come down and support us. The evening will start at 8pm with the band to go on at 9pm, with a late licence for the bar of 3am.
Here are ethe acts playing there until the end of April: |
Friday Mar 31st - The Coolers
Friday Apr 7th - Big Deal
Friday Apr 14th - A Few Good Men
|
Friday Apr 21st - The Funky Monks
Friday Apr 28th - Solar Power

LOAF CANCELLED
Unfortunately, Friday nights at Loaf have been cancelled until further notice. From our point of view, the nights were a success but it seems the powers that be don't want the expense and did not feel comfortable charging on the door, as it wasn't in Mitchells & Butlers usual policy.
If you wish to air your views on this and give us some support, please email us at gavin@livemusic4u.co.uk. |

NEW WEDDING PACKAGES PAGE
We have been providing Wedding packages for our clients since our birth all those years ago, but the actual information page hasn't been touched since we launched the site. So today, we have revamped and made live our new wedding packages page.
It will allow people to not only find out more information and enquire (easily) - but will also demonstrate to people what is actually possible in terms of entertainment on their wedding day, and at what points during their special day. Please do have a look here, and if you think we're missing something, please tell us.

UPDATE and new act
Happy New Year to everyone. We've been taking a collective breath and relaxing slightly after Christmas and New year, but everything should be up and running again, as far as the venues we regularly book at, go.
Fridays at Loaf should be back mid Feb, Pachamamas in Bolton from Feb, The Cotton House in Manchester have still every Saturday, OCA every Wednesday, the Dog & Partridge have continued their live music and the Halfway House in Ashton has continued right through January. We have also picked up a new venue called Brunels, in Wigan where we will be booking duos and solo artists who play with backing music. Some extremely talented singers perform acts like this and they are definately worth a look for those who can't afford a band.
Also, we have started using a band called BIG DEAL who have been gigging at The Dog & Partridge Rochdale, check their page out here. |
