Richmond Soul is Steve Giles and Chris Johnson. Both 26, they have extensive performing experience and have spent many years perfecting their craft through a variety of projects including a disco harmony quartet, a pop/soul choir and a variety of acoustic and fully live outfits. Everything before now has certainly contributed to a polished act from two incredible male vocalists, based around Soul, Motown, RnB, funk and a peppering of swing for those more prestigious occasions. Some pop has also been know to creep in to the set when required…

Together with their previous ventures they have performed leads in the bright lights of London’s West End at theatres such as The London Palladium and the Strand Theatre. They have supported acts at the Southampton Mayflower Theatre, and amongst others, supported the likes of 80’s icon Yazz, Xfactor finalists 4Tune, and the legend that is Peter Andre.

As Richmond Soul, the boys recently won a singing contest to win the opportunity to support Britain’s premiere soul singer ‘Lemar’.They have also had the privilege of supporting 70’s Disco outfit Heatwave, Alexander O’Neal and The Drifters.

In between ‘mixing it up’ with the Stars, Richmond Soul regularly perform at bars, clubs, music venues and functions to party-goers who always come away buzzing.

Either way, it is clear to see that Richmond Soul are at the forefront of their genre and are constantly rejuvenating their audiences with their dynamic and original style.
