Roger Hughes is widely regarded as one of the finest gigging pianists and musicians in the North West . His skill with a piano is breathtaking and although his solo's blow you away, drawing from influences as far apart as trad jazz and latin grooves, the song is the main preoccupation of his performance and that's refreshing.

He has played piano and keys with many well known artists and bands including the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Johnny Dankworth and more recently the Todd Sharpville Band, supporting the likes of BB King and Pink. However, his talent in arranging and orchestration is something that is less well known, and he is currently being utilized by the infamous MUJO Manchester based big band.
